EXPANDING CAREER HORIZONS

At Jamison High School

Schools Industry Partnership, Adrian Rhodes

Inspiring the Future ran a successful What's My Line “Celebrity Heads” type of event at Jamison High School for 120 Year 8 students with 15 industry volunteers.

The feedback from everyone involved was very positive and the teachers said that the students are still talking about it.

The students were exposed to career pathways they had never known about or considered.

As proven by research, young people who have four of more contacts with people from the workforce while they are at school are 5 times less likely to be unemployed or not in further education in their 20’s.

ITF as an early intervention program, is therefore contributing to a reduction in future youth unemployment!
