This free Zoom session took place on Wednesday 10th August and was designed and presented by Women in Design and Construction (WIDAC) in collaboration with Inspiring the Future Australia and TTM (Acoustic, Traffic, Waste & Data Engineers & Consultants). It showcased the career journeys of trailblazing women from high school to 'where they are now' and each presenter shared valuable insights and advice to young women preparing to enter the workforce. 

With 440 students and teachers across Australia registered to take part, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive with most respondents stating that they:

• learned about a career opportunity not previously familiar with, 

• were inspired to explore a career pathway in Design and/or Construction, 

• were inspired to become leader in tomorrow’s workforce, 

• appreciated the fact that career pathways are rarely linear and the importance of career self-management and

• were Inspired to take on challenges and to overcome encountered in the future.
